PRODUCT INFORMATION
Hastelloy C2000 is a new NI-CR-MO alloy with a long history in the chemical processing industry. It is based on C4 alloy to increase the chromium content and add copper. The high chromium content greatly improves the oxidation resistance of the alloy.
The combination of chromium and copper improves corrosion resistance in reducing media. It is an excellent alloy resistant to sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid in this series, and can also resist the potential caused by halide solutions such as chloride. Corrosion type, but not as resistant to intergranular corrosion as alloy C4.
C2000 is a Hastelloy material, resistant to high temperature and corrosion.
59Ni-23Cr-16Mo-1.6Cu-0.08Si-0.01C is the most comprehensive corrosion resistant alloy with excellent resistance to uniform corrosion in both oxidizing and reducing environments. Compared with C-276 alloy, it has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and better resistance to local corrosion.
Hastelloy C-2000 was patented by Haynes in 1995.
Ni-Cr-Mo alloy is a high Cr oxidation resistant medium and a high Mo and W reducing resistant medium. However, due to the limitations of metallurgy, it is impossible to improve oxidation resistance and resistance to reduction by increasing the content of Cr, Mo and W.
