PRODUCT INFORMATION

Inconel 718 has a good tolerance to organic acids, bases and salts, as well as seawater. Good tolerance to sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid and nitric acid. Good resistance to oxidation, carburizing, nitriding and molten salt. Good vulcanization resistance.
The age-hardened Inconel 718 combines high temperature strength up to 700 °C (1300 °F), corrosion resistance and excellent workability. Its welding characteristics, especially its resistance to post-welding cracking, are excellent.
